The Best Dam Ride is a fun, casual bicycle ride for cyclists of all ages and experience levels. Each year, hundreds of riders gather at J. Strom Thurmond Dam at Clarks Hill Lake to enjoy a group bicycle ride that circles the lake, covering three counties and looping through both Georgia and South Carolina.
For road cyclists, there are 29, 62, and 100-mile options making the ride fun for all intensity levels, from beginners and families to advanced cyclists.
For those who prefer trail riding (or mountain biking), there are also 5, 16, and 36-mile options on the out-and-back historic Bartram Trail, sponsored by SORBA-CSRA.

What if I have a mechanical problem on the ride, like a flat tire or broken chain?
